What readers are saying:

Georgiana, Like So Many

“It’s extremely well written and easy to read. Claire does an excellent job relating the personal family history to larger historical themes that played out throughout the 19th Century in Connecticut and The United States. I highly recommend her book!”

The Civil War Letters of Abner C. Smith

“I was so moved by these letters that we are reading some of them aloud in our family on Memorial Day. ”
